PSGR is dedicated to the health and happiness of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. We carefully screen each applicant and potential home to insure it is a good fit for all involved. The first step is to complete the adoption application. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Herman and Sherman are twin wethers (neutered males) who are the best of friends. Although they are identical they have very distinct personalities. Sherman is super social and friendly while Herman is curious little a little more cautious. Both boys are very laid back and are ready to find their forever home. ADOPTION PENDING!
We welcomed these big, sweet boys back to the rescue earlier this year. Yukon & Graham were bottle raised here at the rescue years ago. They were adopted by a wonderful family who took good care of them but the family was no longer able to keep them so they have come back to the rescue to find a new forever home. The boys are very bonded and are friendly, social & ready to meet their new family! Apply to adopt Yukon & Graham!
Alani was one of many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. Alani and Dalton are friendly, fun and ready to meet their forever family! The duo will soon be ready for adoption as a pair or along with another family, Dalton loves his playmates! Apply to adopt Alani & Dalton!
Boomerang & McKissic are social, playful and full of personality Lamancha kids that has been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a day old. The boys are farm favorites of many of our volunteers, you can’t help but fall in love with this duo! Apply to adopt Boomerang & McKissic!
Beautiful young Maren was a part of our “Holiday Buns in the Oven” rescue last winter where we rescued a number of pregnant goats from a dairy. Maren is just a youngster but she is an amazing mom to her handsome boy Fig. This mother/son due is laid back and incredibly sweet. They are now ready to meet their forever family. Ladybug is a laid back, young little Lamancha who gave birth to playful, busy and adorable twins Tatonka & Gigi at the rescue this past April. Ladybug was one of the many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. She is a great mom and her kids are the best of friends and enjoy snuggling up with their Mama every night. Panda is a beautiful, young Lamancha who gave birth to sweet little Nya this spring at the rescue. Nya is as friendly as a bottle baby, she loves people and is playful and curious. Even though Panda is so young she is a wonderful mom. Panda & Nya are now ready to meet their forever family. Apply to adopt Panda & Nya!
Gunner & Huxley are big, beautiful Alpine wethers (neutered males) who grew up at the rescue but recently returned when their family was no longer able to keep them. These gorgeous boys are super laid back and sweet and have been raised around children and horses. Apply to adopt Gunner & Huxley!
Gavin & Grayson are two of the many Lamancha kids we have bottle raised at the rescue since they were just newborns. These twin boys are so sweet and so much fun! Both are super sweet, playful and affectionate. These boys are now ready for their forever home! Apply to adopt Gavin & Grayson!
These two 3 year old brothers came to us when their owner was having health issues and needed to find a safe, new home for the boys. Bottle raised, they are both curious and friendly, incredibly easy going and laid back and they are the best of friends. They are mostly Nigerian Dwarf with a little Lamancha mixed in for extra personality. ADOPTION PENDING!
Jackson and Chewie are two very social and friendly bottle raised sheep, both saved from slaughter. The young boys are the best of friends. Chewie is one of the sweetest sheep you will ever meet, with his sweet baby face, he loves to be pet and snuggled. Jackson is the leader of the two and although more independent is friendly and easy to handle as well. The two are ready to meet their forever family. Apply to adopt Jackson & Chewie!
Yumi is one of our Golden Girls, a group of senior dairy does we gave retirement to this spring. 6 days after her arrival at the rescue Yumi gave birth to girl/boy twins, Keiko & YoYo. For the first time in her life, Yumi got to keep & raise her babies. Yumi is a sweet little Mama who enjoys her quiet time but adores her kids and going out to browse with them. She receives supplemental feeding to help keep her weight and health maintained. Keiko & YoYo are as sweet as bottle babies. They are playful and fun and love their Mama more than anything. Sweet boys Augustus & Colin are two of our rescued & bottle raised kids from this year’s rescued baby season. Augustus is a quintessential Saanen, Saanen’s are known for their laid back and gentle nature and Augustus is exactly that. Colin is a Saanen/Oberhasli cross and has that sweet Saanen personality combined with the outgoing & playful Oberhasli personality. The boys are the best of friend and ready for their forever home. These beautiful boys recently returned to the rescue. We bottle raised them at the rescue 4 years ago and they were adopted to a very loving home that due to health issues of the family, they were no longer able to care for the boys. Sherpa is a sweet, senior Nigerian Dwarf wether (neutered male) who came to us when he was the last one of his herd and very lonely. He is a super laid back little guy with an impressive set of horns but is very gentle and is doing well in a small herd of little and large de-horned goats. We believe he is about 13-14 years old. Sherpa needs a quiet home with mellow goats to live out his life and a home that will be willing to provide him with a little supplemental feeding to help keep his weight up, especially during the winter. This little old guy is just as cute and as charismatic as can be and is ready for a forever retirement home! Apply to adopt Sherpa!
Hombre came to us after neighbors were concerned about him as he was an only goat and tied out behind a home. The family agreed to surrender him to us, at the time he was an neutered male but has since been neutered. Hombre is quite the handsome young guy. He is cautious of new people and a bit shy but he loves bananas and is learning that people aren’t so bad. Hombre is now ready to find his forever home! Apply to adopt Hombre!
These twin mini-lamancha sisters are as sweet as they are gorgeous! They are 3 years old, were bottle raised and came to us when their family could no longer care for them. Luna is the leader of the duo and has an outgoing and spunky personality. Josie is as sweet as can be and loves to follow you around for snuggles. Wolfie and Olaf are two social, friendly boys ready for their forever home! Wolfie, an alpine, and Olaf, a Saanen, were abandoned at a local dog boarding facility. The kennel took great care of the boys for quite some time but knew they weren’t the best home for 2 goats. These big, loveable boys are ready to meet their forever family. They have been around and are comfortable around horses. They are a bonded pair and must stay together. Apply to adopt Wolfie & Olaf!
This Nigerian Dwarf trio is as loveable as they are adorable! The boys recently came to us when their family had to move out of state and could not take them along. They are 3.5 years old and were bottle raised which is clear as they are so friendly and affectionate. Wyatt & Axel are also experienced 4-H goats. They are all leash trained, well behaved and very “go with the flow” They are very bonded and must be adopted as a trio. Apply to adopt Wyatt, Axel & Kalmar!
Milo is a gorgeous Oberhasli wether (neutered male) who we rescued from a neglect situation recently. He is incredibly sweet, clearly bottle raised and is quiet and calm. His laid back personality would be a good fit for a single goat in need of companionship or small herd. Apply to adopt Milo!
Jabbar is a handsome and social Nigerian Dwarf who we rescued after he had been living alone as an only goat. Jabbar was a buck (un-neutered male) when he arrived. We quickly changed that and he is now ready to be a wonderful pet! He is easy going, friendly and ready for his forever home! Apply to adopt Jabbar!
PSGR is located in WA State. We adopt within state and occasionally to neighboring states. If you are outside of our area but are looking to adopt rescues, we suggest PetFinder.com. It is a great resource for finding rescue groups and available rescues for adoption in your area.
