PSGR is dedicated to the health and happiness of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. We carefully screen each applicant and potential home to insure it is a good fit for all involved. The first step is to complete the adoption application. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Gabby is a darling young Boer that we rescued from a backyard butcher operation. This little gal is full of spunky personality! She loves to play and climb and get into anything that she can. She is mischievous but entertaining and has such a love of life. Gabby is now ready to take that firecracker personality to a forever home! Gabby will need a farm with extremely good fencing and things to keep this mischievous girl busy! Apply to adopt Gabby!
It’s been a busy rescued baby season and a number of our rescued kids are now ready for their forever homes! Hamilton and Gabriel are twin Nubian boys who are as sweet as they are gorgeous! Yukon is a big, beautiful Saanen wether, a gentle giant, who was bottle raised here at the rescue years ago. He was adopted by a wonderful family who took good care of him but the family was no longer able to keep them so brought their goats back to the rescue to find new forever homes. Yukon loves to give kisses and is a very easy going, loving guy and is ready to meet his new family! Apply to adopt Yukon!
Larkin & Neo are such a great duo! Larkin is a gorgeous Lamancha who, in typical Lamancha fashion, is curious, busy and full of fun personality. Neo is a Lamancha/Saanen cross who loves his snuggle time as much as his playtime. Both boys love to spend their days browsing and grazing. They have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a few days old and are now ready for their forever home. Learn more about our kid adoption process!
Ladybug is a laid back, young little Lamancha who gave birth to playful, busy and adorable twins Tatonka & Gigi at the rescue last year. Ladybug was one of the many pregnant does we rescued in the winter of 2017. She is a great mom and her kids are the best of friends and enjoy snuggling up with their Mama every night. GiGi is full of playful and mischievous personality and her brother tries hard to keep up with her antics. The family will need a farm with extremely good fencing and things to keep these kids busy! Gunner & Huxley are big, beautiful Alpine wethers (neutered males) who grew up at the rescue but recently returned when their family was no longer able to keep them. These gorgeous boys are super laid back and sweet and have been raised around children and horses. Gunner & Huxley have tested positive for CL so should be the only goats in their new home, they would also be wonderful horse companions or with other goats who are CL positive. This trio is as sweet as they are beautiful! Violet (a 4 year old Nubian doe) Georgie (a 5 year old Boer/Keiko cross wether) and Zelmer (a 4 year old Alpine/Oberhasli cross) are a very bonded trio that has been together since they were babies. Their former owner rescued them all as youngsters and gave them a wonderful life but a move forced her to find them a new home. Georgie is the big love bug of the group and Violet is always by his side. Zelmer loves to lead the trio out to brose and explore. They are all laid back, friendly, gentle and make a wonderful little herd. Apply to adopt Violet, Georgie & Zelmer!
A number of this year’s rescued kids are ready to make their way to their forever homes including this duo! Doozy, a Toggenburg and Maslin, a Lamancha/Saanen cross are bottle raised love bugs who adore attention and are ready to share all that love with their forever family. Ditto & Pichu are two of our adorable rescued long eared cuties this season. The boys have been bottle raised at one of our foster homes that is also home to a Montessori school so they have been raised around lots of children. They are very well socialized and playful and happy little boys who are now ready for their forever home. Apply to adopt Ditto & Pichu!
Beatrice is a beautiful, dainty Alpine girl and Shelby is a sweet and full of spunky personality Lamancha wether (neutered male) and this duo is now ready to meet their forever family! Roscoe and Sambuca are two big, sweet boys who were bottle raised at the rescue 5 years ago. They were adopted by a very loving family that took wonderful care of them but when they moved to NY they had to bring the boys back to us. They are very social and love attention and to be brushed. Lovely & social Bree and her darling and full of fun and playful personality son Zoomie are now ready for their forever home! We rescued Bree (and Lyric, also available for adoption with her son) when she was pregnant after their herd was being killed by a cougar. Bree is a young, first time mom who had an easy delivery and is a wonderful mom. Zoomie is as sweet as a bottle baby. These two love bugs can’t wait to meet their forever family! Dutch & Dawson are two of this season’s rescued long eared cuties. These Nubian twins are incredibly social and friendly and always have a lot to say! Cassius and Odin are very striking boys! Cassius is a purebred Oberhasli and Odin is an Oberhasli cross that we rescued as bucks from a neglect situation. They were neutered upon arrival at the rescue and are now ready for their forever home. They arrived quite unsure and shy around people but are starting to warm up now that they are safe and getting proper nutrition and TLC for possibly the first time in their life. JoJo, an alpine doe (female) and Avery, a Saanen wether (neutered male) are 2 of this season’s rescued kids who are now ready to meet their new family! Titus & Parker are two gorgeous young Oberhasli boys who have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a few days old. When Titus arrived he only had use of 3 of his legs, due to a traumatic birth that left him orphaned, he also sustained an injury to a leg. These days you would never know it, a few weeks after he arrived, the leg started to heal and he runs and plays just like all the other kids. These two are the best of friends and sweet, snuggly and playful and love to graze and browse. They will soon be ready to go to their forever home! Learn more about our kid adoption process!
Quinn & Lucy are an adorable duo that came to the rescue when their family was no longer able to keep them. The pair, a wether (neutered male) and female are 6 years old and full of fun and sweet personality. They are easy going and will fit well into any herd or will soak up all the love of being the only two goats. Quinn & Lucy are ready to meet their forever family! Apply to adopt Quinn & Lucy!
We rescued these adorable Holstein calves when they were just a week and a half old and destined to be raised for slaughter. The calves, born mid May, are currently being bottle raised and will soon be ready for their perfect forever home. The boys will be dehorned and neutered. They are super sweet and are the most darling “pasture puppies” and are even trained to come to the sound of a bell. As with all of our rescues they are available to a pet home only. Don’t miss your chance to add one or both of these darling boys to your farm family. They can be adopted together or individually as long as there is other livestock at the home. Cooper and Cash are two of this year’s rescued Lamancha kids. These twin brothers are inseparable and have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were a day old. They are super sweet and entertaining and will soon be ready to meet their forever home! Learn more about our kid adoption process!
These 10 year old ladies came to us after we saw them being given away on Craigslist for free. They had spent their lives tied on a tether and never received vet care of hoof trimming. When their owner became too elderly to care for them, a family member took them in but they were tethered there as well as they didn’t have proper fencing for them. The girls are now safe with us and free from life on a tether for the first time in their lives. They are incredibly sweet and despite not receiving ideal care for some time, they are healthy and active and ready for their forever home! Apply to adopt Rogue & Ariel!
Jasmine (Nubian ) and Guinevere (Alpine) are 3 year old does came to us after the farms that they were living at decided to take them out of their breeding programs. Both of the girls are incredibly sweet, gentle, polite and easy to handle. They adore attention and being brushed! They both came into the rescue in milk and we’ve been in the process of drying them up. These sweet girls are ready for a home to pamper them in their early “retirement” Apply to adopt Jasmine & Guinevere!
Dorsey & Ducati are a beautiful pair of young adult wethers (neutered males) who came to the rescue when their herd was in urgent need of a new home. The boys are easy to handle and well socialized. Bosco is a super friendly and adorable jersey calf that we rescued from slaughter when he was just days old. He is currently being bottle raised at the rescue. This darling pasture puppy” will soon be ready for adoption! He can be adopted alongside goats or to a home that currently has other livestock. Apply to adopt Bosco!
Everly is a very special little lady. She is one our 2019 rescued dairy babies and came to us as she was born with eye issues. She had a cyst on one eye that compromised her vision. Although the cyst was removed, she still has limited vision in both eyes. This little gal doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She is playful and social and does well navigating the world around her. She is super sweet and snuggly as well. Evie was one of the pregnant does who was a part of our “Holiday Buns in the Oven” rescue in the winter of 2017. The following spring, she gave birth to son Joker on April Fool’s Day. Evie is social and full of personality and Joker is a sweet mama’s boy who is as affectionate with people as a bottle baby. This duo loves attention and is sweet, full of personality and will make a wonderful addition to any farm family! Apply to adopt Evie & Joker!
They don’t come any more adorable or endearing as this old couple! We rescued Mary Ann & Hajji when their person was loosing his home and was desperate to find a safe place for his goats. Mary Ann is a full of personality old lady who loves cheek scratches and Hajji is the sweetest old Lamancha man who loves to stay by your side and get loves. The duo is thought to be around 10 years old but we’re not sure. They are seniors but are in great health and are looking for a wonderful retirement home in which to be spoiled in their senior years. PSGR is located in WA State. We adopt within state and occasionally to neighboring states. If you are outside of our area but are looking to adopt rescues, we suggest PetFinder.com. It is a great resource for finding rescue groups and available rescues for adoption in your area.
