This big, Boer wether (neutered male) was surrendered to us when his companion passed away and his elderly owners could no longer care for him. This beautiful girl was part of our big slaughterhouse rescue earlier this summer. She was incredibly thin and in such poor condition when we rescued her. It appeared as though she had recently had babies. It has taken her some time to start to fully recover but she is slowly gaining weight and is so happy now, the light is back in her eyes! Smokey came to us after he suffered a vicious dog attack and received no medical attention for a week. Once in our care he received the treatment and TLC he needed and made an amazing recovery.
