Adoption, change their life, change yours
PSGR is dedicated to the happiness, health and safety of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. Our goal is to find the best fit for both the goats and you, the adopter. The first step is to complete the adoption application and sending us photos of your set-up including all fence lines, gates and shelter. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Please note: We only adopt locally in Washington state.
Goose & Maverick
These 2 boys are not only handsome but such sweet and fun boys! Goose & Maverick are Lamancha twins who arrived at the rescue in Feb of 2024 when they were just 2 days old as bottle babies. The boys are both incredibly friendly, curious and love attention. They are neutered, up to date on vaccines and ready for their forever home. Apply to adopt!
Tallulah & Charlie
These 2 are the cutest BFFs! Tallulah is as sweet as she is gorgeous. We rescued her from a meat broker before she was sold for meat. She is around 2 years old and a petite girl. She is quiet, easy going and such a love with people. A few weeks later we took in Charlie after he had been living alone and on a tether. He nearly died from hanging himself. The family then realized he needed a new home. He and Tallulah have bonded and are now inseparable. Charlie is a sweet boy although shy at first. He will benefit being out of a big herd. Apply to adopt!
Merida
Merida is an adorable Boer doe. We think she is around 4-5 years old and she is on the small side. She is very friendly and sweet with people but can be pushy around young kids so would do best in a home with no children or older, livestock savvy kids. Apply to adopt!
Babydoll sheep
Meet Teddy & Barnaby, Babydoll wethers (neutered males) and their BFF, Olive, a Southdown ewe. The trio are all around 2 years old and we saved them before they were sent to auction. They were family pets and once they settle in, they are all social. They are as cute as can be and very bonded so they must go as a trio. They will require annual shearing.
Apply to adopt!
Tegan & Teddy
This beautiful mother & son pair came to us via a neglect case last fall. These two are the first out to graze in the morning and the last to come in, they love being out in the pasture. Although both are curious and will approach people, they are not “in your pocket friendly” but are both easy to handle for hoof trimming, etc. They would be perfect for a home who would like goats to help maintain their pastures but aren't looking for goats who like a lot of human interaction. Tegan is on the small side and Teddy is a medium sized goat. Apply to adopt!
Tinker Belle & Tucker
These full of personality Lamancha/Oberhasli/Boer cross twins are two of the sweetest goats! T & T were born at a dairy and bottle raised at the rescue since they were just 2 days old. They absolutely adore people and attention and love to graze and browse but also lounge in front of the hay feeder. Apply to adopt!
Nash & Dash
Meet the adorable & full of personality duo of Nash & Dash. These darling boys have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a day old. They are 1/4 Lamancha, 1/4 Oberhasli and 1/2 Boer and 100% cute. These boys have a lot of personality and are busy and love to play and be active. Apply to adopt!
The Fab 4
The Fab 4 are an incredibly sweet and FULL of personality group! Genevive, Gemma & Gio are triplet Lamancha/Boer crosses (dehorned) who have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were a couple days old. They have been raised with their buddy Bear (horned) who arrived with them at less than a day old. These kids adore people and are busy, playful and such a fun group. They are sure to charm their way into your heart! Apply to adopt!
ZuZu & Zabe
ZuZu & Zabe are darling Lamancha/Boer twins who were born in April at a dairy and have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a couple days old. The twins are the sweetest and have lots of fun, playful personality. They are truly a special little duo and have been farm favorites this season. Apply to adopt!
Novi & her daughters
Novi and her daughters Maisie & Maxine are such a darling trio! Novi came to us last fall from a neglect case. She was pregnant at the time and gave birth to her cute little girls at the rescue. She had mastitis at the time they were born so the babies were bottle raised the first few days then nursed from Novi but we supplemented them with bottles for a few months. M & M are super social and love people and attention while mama Novi is still a little shy but she loves treats! Their family bond is strong and they must be adopted as a family of 3. Apply to adopt!
Moceri
Mo is a gorgeous young Mini Lamancha wether who came to us from a neglect case. He is playful and loves to browse and graze. He is curious and will approach you and give you kisses but he does not like to be pet. We would like to see him go with some other goats from the herd he came to us with such as Juniper & Jonah or Teagan & Teddy. Apply to adopt!
Juniper & Jonah
This mother/son duo was part of a neglect case we took in last fall. Juniper is a sweet, mellow mini Lamancha. Her son Jonah is more on the shy side but he sticks close to his mom, they are incredibly bonded. The pair must be adopted together and would love a home with other members of their original herd such as Moceri who is a playmate of Jonah. Apply to adopt!
Willow & Maeve
Meet Willow & Maeve, 2 beautiful angora goats. The girls are thought to be 5-6 years old and came to us after they were headed to auction after their elderly owners passed away and the family was unable to care for them. The girls are curious and easy going but are not “in your pocket” friendly. They will do best in a home without brush such as blackberries that their curls could get caught in. They will need to be shorn 2x/year and we can provide a referral to a shearer. Apply to adopt!
Bevin
Bevin is a beautiful Boer cross doe that we rescued a few years ago after she was found tied out with no shelter during a winter storm. The rope she was tied with was so tight around her neck it caused deep neck wounds. She spent the last few years in a wonderful home but had to return when both her both companion and one of her human family members passed. She is easy going and does well in our herd. She would make a good companion for a lonely, horned, mature goat or can be adopted alongside her friend Lolita. Apply to adopt!
Lolita
Lolita is a mature Lamancha doe that we recued years ago from a slaughterhouse. She returned when the family had to move and her goat companion passed of old age. Lolita is a herd queen and has a lot of bossy personality so would do best with a horned goat herd that could hold their own. She can also be adopted alongside her friend here at the rescue, Bevin. Lolita loves to spend her days out in the pasture. Apply to adopt!
Cosmo & Noah
They don’t come much sweeter than this duo! Cosmo and Noah are Saanen yearlings who were bottle raised at the rescue after they both went through livestock auctions at just days old. They became the best of friends and are so incredibly sweet. They are quiet, gentle and adore attention. They also love to play with their buddies and to graze. These two are sure to steal your heart Apply to adopt!
Harper & her son Geno
Harper & her "puppy sit" are too cute! Harper and her son Geno are looking to meet their forever family. We rescued Harper from auction where she was sent, pregnant, and she gave birth to Geno at the rescue in spring of 2023. Harper loves to gaze into your eyes while you pet her and Geno is very people friendly and such a social guy. If they are adopted as just a pair (not with Hattie & her boys) they need to join a herd with another young, playful goat. Geno is horned and loves to play and needs a playmate to get all that energy out. Ideally they would be adopted with Harper's sister Hattie & her 2 boys, Walker & Lockett. Apply to adopt!
Hattie & her boys Walker & Lockett
Hattie is such an adorable little mama! Hattie was one of a number of does we rescued from auction when they were pregnant. She gave birth to her boys in the spring of 2023. Walker is already bigger than his mom and Lockett is still a little guy. Walker loves attention from people like his mom while Lockett takes a little while to warm up to new people but loves head scratches once he does. Ideally the family would be adopted along with Hattie's sister Harper and her son Geno and the boys all grew up together and love to play together. Apply to adopt!
Havoc
Havoc is a handsome 4 year old Lamancha who was bottle raised at the rescue after we rescued him from a livestock auction when he was just a few weeks old. He returned to the rescue when his adoptive family had some life changes. He is friendly with everyone he meets, people and goats! He has boned to Brock in his foster home and we would like to see the pair adopted together. Apply to adopt!
Brock
Brock is a handsome, 5 year old Lamancha who was bottle raised at the rescue. He recently returned to the rescue and is ready for his true forever home. Brock is full of busy, curious and fun Lamancha personality. He has bonded to Havoc in their foster home and we would like to see the boys adopted together. Apply to adopt!
Posey & her boys
Posey is the cutest little blue eyed mama who we rescued back in December, pregnant. Posey gave birth to her super cute boys, Paxton & Percy in early March. The boys are now almost as big as their mom! They are all super sweet and love attention from people. The boys are super active & adventurous. They must be adopted as a family of 3. Please note that Paxton is horned. Apply to adopt!
Ace & Aiden
These handsome twin boys are ready to meet their forever family. Ace & Aiden came to us as babies after they went through a livestock auction when there were just a couple weeks old. They are so sweet and loving. They are a laid back duo but also have a fund, playful side. We would love for their friend Axel to be adopted with them. These cuties are neutered, up to date on vaccines and ready for their next chapter. Apply to adopt!
Axel
We rescued this darling little guy from a livestock auction. He was dropped off there by himself, no herd mates or friends. He is around 7 months old and as sweet as can be. He can be adopted to a home with kids his same age or with Ace & Aiden, the friends he has made here at the rescue. Apply to adopt!
Ingrid & her triplets
Ingrid is a sweet Lamancha mom who we rescued from a meat broker after she gave birth to the twins just days before she was set to sell at auction. She has 2 girls, Isabel and Zoey and her boy Ziggy, who is neutered. The triplets are all curious and people friendly. Ingrid is such a wonderful mom. The kids are so playful and energetic, they are such a fun family and must be adopted as a family of 4. Apply to adopt!
Cal
Cal is an incredibly sweet and handsome young Saanen wether. Cal was purchased at auction by a meat broker. They called to let us know how nice he was and they hated to see him go to slaughter but that he was going on the transport the next AM. We didn’t hesitate to say yes to taking him. He was in rough shape when he arrived but some good nutrition and a few weeks later, he was looking amazing! Cal has integrated seamlessly into our big herd and would make a great companion for another horned goat or small herd. Apply to adopt!
Lola & her daughters
Lola & her daughters Lark, Lemon & Lizzie are such a beautiful group of girls. We rescued Lola from auction when she was pregnant. She gave birth to the girls as the rescue in January of 2023. They were adopted but returned when the family added lots of other small farm animals to their space and Lola & the girls didn't get along well with all the animals who were added to their space. They have done so well coming back to the rescue and integrating into our current herd. They would do best as the only goats in their new home or joining a herd that has strong, full of personality goats. Lola is dehorned but her girls are all horned. Lola is super sweet and loves attention, Lemon is social and can always be found with her mom and Lizzie and Lark are also sweet girls and BFFs. This gorgeous family is ready for their true forever home. Apply to adopt!
Maggie, Mae & Molly
They don't get sweeter than these 3 ladies! Maggie, Mae and Molly are ~ 9 year old does who came to us after the family who bottle raised them and had cared for them their whole lives had to move out of country and couldn't take the girls along. They love people and attention and are sweet, sassy and healthy. They don't show their age at all! They are easy going and are looking to meet their new family. Apply to adopt!
Gracie, Coal & Theodore SPECIAL NEEDS
Meet the most unlikely yet adorable trio. Theodore is a Nigerian Dwarf who arrived at the rescue at a couple days old and only a couple pounds. He was a house baby for awhile and is very sweet and full of personality. We then took in Coal, a Kinder, to be a BFF for Theodore. Coal is spunky and friendly and the boss of the trio. Gracie is a Nubian who joined the boys when they were still young. She came to us as during birth, her neck ligaments were torn from her skull leaving her top vertabre exposed. These days, you would never know anything is different. She is healthy, happy and otherwise normal. The trio will all be one this spring and need special considerations (no other goats or a mellow, dehorned goat) to make sure Gracie has the safest home possible. They are all very sweet and very bonded, they must be adopted as a trio. Apply to adopt!
Kira & Kai
Kira & Kai are two of the sweetest kiddos you will ever meet. The twins came to us in August of 2024 as newborns from a dairy. Their mom is a full sister to our beloved permanent residents, Nicky & Nitro. Kira has their same, spunky, playful personality and Kai is playful and has that lovey Saanen side to him as well. They were bottle raised and incredibly friendly and sweet and will make such wonderful pets Apply to adopt!
Thea & her triplets
Thea and her triplets, who now almost a year old, are a lovely Lamancha family. Thea is an older mom and such a wonderful mom. Her triplets include Kingston & Oliver (wethers) and Margot, a doe. Kingston is outgoing and social, Oliver & Margot are slower to warm up to new people but very sweet when they do. The trio is very playful and adore their mom. Thea is easy to handle and enjoys grazing, eating and napping. She is slowly gaining weight back after weaning her kids and will benefit from continuing to receive supplemental feeding. This sweet family would do best in a quiet, patient home. Apply to adopt!
Echo & Limo
Echo & Limo are Lamancha/Boer twins (a doe and a wether) that we rescued after they were sent through a livestock auction at just 8 weeks old to sell for slaughter. These bottle raised are so, so sweet! They are easy going, Echo loves to have little chats with you and Limo has such a quiet elegance. They both have true Lamancha personalities and are curious and friendly. They should be the only goats in their new home or adopted with some of their herdmates. This beautiful sister/brother duo is sure to steal your heart! Apply to adopt!
Suki
Suki is a ~3 year old Lamancha/Oberhasli cross doe that we rescued from a livestock auction. She is very sweet with people, she is always the first one to come up and give kisses when you walk into the pasture and she loves to "help" with chores and projects. She is quite sassy with other goats and definitely a "herd queen". She would do well adopted alongside another strong personality, horned goat from the rescue or as a companion to another horned goat with big personality. Apply to adopt!
