We are an entirely volunteer run, 501 (c)(3) registered charity dedicated to goats in need. Each year, we rescue goats (and a few other farm animals) from a variety of situations where they are unwanted or no longer able to be properly cared for. We provide them a home and care for them until we find them a new forever home. Support from our donors helps make the rescue and care of over 200 goats per year possible.
100% of donations go directly to support our mission and are tax deductable.
Make a difference, every month.
Our life saving rescue work never stops and reoccurring monthly donations are a great way to help us each and every month, all year long. From helping cover the costs of feed, vet visits and slaughterhouse rehabilitation, your monthly donation dollars go directly to the care of goats we rescue. Monthly donors get access to special news about the farm and other bonuses as a special thank you.
One Time Donation
Make a donation and make a direct impact on the lives of our rescues. Every dollar counts and each and every dollar goes directly to the rescue and care of our animals.
Shop and help the goats
Designate Puget Sound Goat Rescue as your charity of choice through both Amazon Smile and Fred Meyer Community Rewards. Every time you make a purchase, a percentage will go directly to the rescue. It’s as easy as that!
Wear your support
Puget Sound Goat Rescue gear is now available! We have t-shirts, hoodies, mugs and totes. Such a fun way to support PSGR and the goats. Everything is made to order in a wide variety of sizes and colors and shipped directly to you. All profits from the shop come back to the rescue and go directly toward the rescue and care of the goats! Come back often for new and limited edition designs!
Volunteer work at PSGR includes cleaning barns, mucking stalls, filling water buckets, various small projects, etc. and we always make time for snuggling goats! We are a small working farm so be prepared to get dirty! We ask for a 2 hour commitment per volunteer visit and a commitment of either weekly or biweekly shifts. We do not allow children under 14 to volunteer at the rescue. All volunteers age 14-18 must be accompanied by a volunteering adult for the duration of their shift.
If you have a group, personal or corporate that would like to volunteer we occasionally have a need for work party days that include our usual farm chores as well as larger scale projects.
