Although PSGR adopts out our rescues so that we can save that many more, we are also a forever home to an amazing group of permanent residents. Each of our permanent residents is looking for a monthly sponsor. Sponsoring a resident helps to cover the cost of their care. When our permanent residents are sponsored, we can put more towards saving more innocent lives.

We also offer sponsorship of some of our adoptable animals who will need more time and/or specialized care at the rescue before they are ready for adoption.

Sponsoring a resident is simple, just click the "Sponsor" button below the resident's profile and you will be directed to set up your monthly donation. You will receive exclusive updates and photos of your resident throughout the year.

Thank you for your support!

Tinker Bell & Tucker are permanent residents Nicky, Nitro & Adaline's niece and nephew!

Senior Does

After years of service as dairy does, these discarded seniors were sent to auction. We were about to save this group and while they have a long road ahead to regain their health, they now have food, fresh water, medical care and are safe. They are so sweet and trusting even though people failed them.

Nicky & Nitro - permanent residents - SPONSORED

The handsome boys need no introduction! They have been with us at the rescue since they were just 3 days old and for 7 years have been providing us with entertainment & laughs. Nicky & Nitro serve as ambassadors for both larger breed goats and Lamanchas, one of our favorite breeds! When adopters arrive with a desire to adopt smaller goats or say they don't want to adopt the ones with "no ears", they quickly have their opinions changed after spending 5 minutes with Nicky & Nitro. These gentle giants are full of personality, affectionate and incredibly endearing.

Blind & beautiful, Everly is another one of our special needs goats. Everly came to us at just a few days old with an ulcerated eye and limited vision in her other eye. Everly can see some shadows which helps her navigate her surroundings. Everly is a wonderful "big sister" to the bottle raised kids and can often be found snuggled up on a bed with one or two of them. In the evenings Everly often gets the "zoomies", it is such a joy to watch her play and enjoy life.

Koa - permanent resident - Sponsored

Koa was shoved into a small crate and abandoned outside of an Animal Control in the middle of the night with a horrific leg break. By the time Koa came into our care, our vets were unable to save his leg. Koa received lifesaving amputation surgery not long after he arrived and hasn't looked back since. He has only continued to grow stronger every day. Koa doesn't know he is any different than any of our other goats and is happy, healthy and living up to the meaning of his name, "warrior" every single day!

Koa receives daily medication for pain & inflammation prevention as well as hoof evaluations and corrective cutting if needed from our vet team to make sure his other 3 feet are in tip top shape for mobility.

Adaline & Callum - permanent residents - Sponsored

It's all in the family! In 2021 we received newborn Adaline, Nicky & Nitro's baby sister, as a gift from the dairy their mom lived on. Mama Adaline was a senior, supposed to be retired but was accidentally bred and died during kidding. 2 baby girls survived and they gifted us one knowing our connection to her as Nicky & Nitro's mom. We named the baby girl Adaline, in honor of mama Adaline. Since all our babies at the time were older, newborn Callum came along as well and the 2 have been inseparable BFFs ever since. It was clear from day 1, Adaline belonged here, she was destined to be a part of the PSGR family. Her and Callum are now permanent residents and are growing up alongside her big brothers, Nicky & Nitro.
