PSGR is dedicated to the health and happiness of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. We carefully screen each applicant and potential home to insure it is a good fit for all involved. The first step is to complete the adoption application. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Gavin & Grayson are two of the many Lamancha kids we have bottle raised at the rescue since they were just newborns. These twin boys are so sweet and so much fun! Both are super sweet, playful and affectionate. These boys are now ready for their forever home! Apply to adopt Gavin & Grayson!
Herman and Sherman are twin wethers (neutered males) who are the best of friends. Although they are identical they have very distinct personalities. Sherman is super social and friendly while Herman is curious little a little more cautious. Both boys are very laid back and are ready to find their forever home. Apply to adopt Herman & Sherman
Billy is a 3 year old social, smart and playful Lamancha wether (neutered male) Billy was purchased from a livestock auction at just a few months old and kept as an only goat. A neighbor (a rescue volunteer and adopter) finally convinced the family to surrender him to them so he could be with other goats. Billy will do well with other young, active, horned goats. We recently welcomed these big, sweet boys back to the rescue. Yukon & Graham were bottle raised here at the rescue years ago. They were adopted by a wonderful family who took good care of them but the family was no longer able to keep them so they have come back to the rescue to find a new forever home. The boys are very bonded and are friendly, social & ready to meet their new family! Apply to adopt Yukon & Graham!
Betty & Marilyn are two middle ages ladies and BFFs ready to find their forever home! These girls were purchased from a loving family by a Craigslist Scammer and ended up in the hands of a meat broker. Luckily we were able to get to them in time to save them. They will do best as only goats or in a very small herd. They are friendly and calm and looking for a quiet life filled with love and good food! Apply to adopt Betty & Marilyn!
Nora is a beautiful, sweet and laid back Nubian that we rescued when she was pregnant. In January she gave birth to triplets at the rescue. A daughter, Marlowe who is a sweet and snuggly Mama's girl and two boys, Mason & Rocco who are playful, adventurous and love climbing on anything and everything. The babies are all well socialized and love people. The family is only available for adoption as a family of 4. They love being a part of a herd and would do well in a home with other goats. As a rescue we only adopt our rescues as pets and have a no breeding clause in our adoption agreement. Apply to adopt Nora and her triplets!
Alani was one of many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. Alani and Dalton are friendly, fun and ready to meet their forever family! The duo will soon be ready for adoption as a pair or along with another family, Dalton loves his playmates! Apply to adopt Alani & Dalton!
Georgia & her boys are a full of personality young Lamancha family. Georgia was one of a number of pregnant does we rescued this past year. At just 2 years old she is a young mom but an amazing mom. Her boys are the best of friends and are super social and playful and always under Georgia’s watchful eye. The family of 3 will soon be ready for their forever home! Little miss Harper and her funny, playful and sweet son Keegan are now ready for their forever home! We rescued Harper from a local slaughterhouse after she was sold at a livestock auction. We soon learned she was pregnant and a few months later she gave birth to darling little Keegan. These two beauties are Lamancha/Nigerian Dwarf crosses. They are small in size and as cute as can be! Boomerang & McKissic are social, playful and full of personality Lamancha kids that has been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a day old. The boys are farm favorites of many of our volunteers, you can’t help but fall in love with this duo! Apply to adopt Boomerang & McKissic!
Beautiful young Maren was a part of our “Holiday Buns in the Oven” rescue last winter where we rescued a number of pregnant goats from a dairy. Maren is just a youngster but she is an amazing mom to her handsome boy Fig. This mother/son due is laid back and incredibly sweet. They are now ready to meet their forever family. Meet the President & Vice President of our long eared cuties club! Pharaoh & Bounce are two of the many Nubian kids we have bottled raised at the rescue this year. Ladybug is a laid back, young little Lamancha who gave birth to playful, busy and adorable twins Tatonka & Gigi at the rescue this past April. Ladybug was one of the many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. She is a great mom and her kids are the best of friends and enjoy snuggling up with their Mama every night. Panda is a beautiful, young Lamancha who gave birth to sweet little Nya this spring at the rescue. Nya is as friendly as a bottle baby, she loves people and is playful and curious. Even though Panda is so young she is a wonderful mom. Panda & Nya are now ready to meet their forever family. Apply to adopt Panda & Nya!
Huxley is a big, beautiful Alpine wether (neutered male) who grew up at the rescue with his best buddy Gunner but recently returned when their family was no longer able to keep them. This gorgeous boy is super laid back and sweet and has been raised around children and horses. Apply to adopt Huxley!
Pepe & Paco are twin 2.5 year old, adorable, blue eyed Mini Lamanchas (Nigerian Dwarf/Lamancha crosses) They were surrendered to us when the family who raised them was no longer able to keep them. They have been well loved and cared for and are friendly, laid back and ready to meet their forever family. Apply to adopt Pepe & Paco!
This super social guy is like a puppy who loves to follow you around and wag his tail politely asking for cheek scratches. Kenzo is about 2.5 years old and came to us after living his entire life alone and tethered. He is so happy to now have room to roam and goat companionship! Kenzo is a big boy but is laid back and very sweet! Apply to adopt Kenzo!
Moose is quite possibly the cutest and sweetest Nigerian Dwarf that we have ever had at the rescue! This little character just loves attention and head scratches. He is laid back, friends with everyone in the herd and one of the happiest little goats you will ever meet! Moose can’t wait to meet his forever family! Apply to adopt Moose!
Emerson & Elijah are two of the sweet bottle raised kids we rescued this season. The twins are the best of friends and are the perfect blend of their two breeds. Emerson is more Lamancha in her curious & busy personality and her brother Elijah is more Saanen with his gentle and mellow personality. They are both playful, friendly and love to be cuddled. These two 3 year old brothers came to us when their owner was having health issues and needed to find a safe, new home for the boys. Bottle raised, they are both curious and friendly and are the best of friends. They are mostly Nigerian Dwarf with a little Lamancha mixed in for extra personality. Apply to adopt Reuben & Ryder!
Butterbean & Farrah are twin Nubian/Saanen cross girls. They have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a day old. They are snuggly lap babies who are sweet as can be. These lovely little ladies can’t wait to meet their forever family.
Newt & Andre are two of our super sweet bottle raised kids from this year’s rescued bottle baby season. These twin boy are Oberhasli/Lamancha crosses are full of playful, entertaining personality but still love their quiet, snuggly lap time. The boys are now ready for their forever home!
Alfie & Marigold are Nubian BFFs who were bottle raised first at the rescue this year and then spent their summer at Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellevue where they have received lots of love from kids attending camp! The two love kids and are leash trained and do well with other goats and farm animals. They will be ready for their forever home as summer comes to an end.
These two big, gentle giants are just as sweet as can be. We rescued Scooby (right) 4 years ago from a local slaughterhouse. He was adopted into a wonderful home that took in Flapjack, a “petting zoo dropout” when Scooby’s original companion passed away. Facing some life changes, the family was no longer able to keep the boys so we have welcomed Scooby and his BFF back to the rescue. Scooby & Flapjack have been raised around kids and horses and can’t wait to meet their forever family!
PSGR is located in WA State. We adopt within state and occasionally to neighboring states. If you are outside of our area but are looking to adopt rescues, we suggest PetFinder.com. Used exclusively by animal rescue groups and shelters, you can search for barnyard animals, specifically goats and within your area by zip code. It is a great resource for finding rescue groups and available rescues for adoption in your area.
