PSGR is dedicated to the health and happiness of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. We carefully screen each applicant and potential home to insure it is a good fit for all involved. The first step is to complete the adoption application. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Yukon is a big, beautiful Saanen wether, a gentle giant, who was bottle raised here at the rescue years ago. He was adopted by a wonderful family who took good care of him but the family was no longer able to keep them so brought their goats back to the rescue to find new forever homes. Yukon loves to give kisses and is a very easy going, loving guy and is ready to meet his new family! Apply to adopt Yukon!
Alani was one of many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. Alani and Dalton are friendly, fun and ready to meet their forever family! The duo will soon be ready for adoption as a pair or along with another family, Dalton loves his playmates! Apply to adopt Alani & Dalton!
Beautiful young Maren was a part of our “Holiday Buns in the Oven” rescue last winter where we rescued a number of pregnant goats from a dairy. Maren is just a youngster but she is an amazing mom to her handsome boy Fig. This mother/son due is laid back and incredibly sweet. They are now ready to meet their forever family. Ladybug is a laid back, young little Lamancha who gave birth to playful, busy and adorable twins Tatonka & Gigi at the rescue this past April. Ladybug was one of the many pregnant does we rescued this past winter. She is a great mom and her kids are the best of friends and enjoy snuggling up with their Mama every night. Gunner & Huxley are big, beautiful Alpine wethers (neutered males) who grew up at the rescue but recently returned when their family was no longer able to keep them. These gorgeous boys are super laid back and sweet and have been raised around children and horses. Apply to adopt Gunner & Huxley!
Yumi is one of our Golden Girls, a group of senior dairy does we gave retirement to this spring. 6 days after her arrival at the rescue Yumi gave birth to girl/boy twins, Keiko & YoYo. For the first time in her life, Yumi got to keep & raise her babies. Yumi is a sweet little Mama who enjoys her quiet time but adores her kids and going out to browse with them. She receives supplemental feeding to help keep her weight and health maintained. Keiko & YoYo are as sweet as bottle babies. They are playful and fun and love their Mama more than anything. These twin mini-lamancha sisters are as sweet as they are gorgeous! They are 3 years old, were bottle raised and came to us when their family could no longer care for them. Luna is the leader of the duo and has an outgoing and spunky personality. Josie is as sweet as can be and loves to follow you around for snuggles. These beauties are ready to meet their forever family! Apply to adopt Josie & Luna!
Evie was one of a number of does we rescued last winter who was pregnant. This past April 1st she gave birth to son Joker, named for his April Fools Birthday. Evie is a herd queen but very friendly and sociable and her “mini me” Joker is just as sweet and affectionate with people as a bottle baby. Mother & son must be adopted together. Milo is an affectionate and super sweet Oberhasli wether (neutered male) who we rescued from a neglect situation where he was alone and tied out for 12 hours a day with no food, water or shelter. Milo loves having the companionship of other goats now and adores attention from people. He is full of personality! He would do best in a home without young, small children. Apply to adopt Milo!
Meet Jovie, Julep and Julep’s twins Tamson & Opie! Little Jovie and Julep came to us as strays who were clearly severely neglected and starving. They began their recovery process with us and we learned shortly after that Julep was pregnant. In January, Julep gave birth to two healthy Boer cross kids, a daughter, Tamson and son, Opie. Jovie is a wonderful “aunt” to the babies and the family of 4 is extremely bonded. They can often be found napping in a big cuddle puddle. All 4 are incredibly sweet & social and ready for their forever home! Apply to adopt this group!
Sunny is a 3 year old Nubian/Saanen cross who is as sweet as he is adorable! Sunny and his herd mates (Sambuca & Roscoe) were all bottle raised at the rescue and adopted to a wonderful family that recently had to relocate to NYC and was unable to take the boys along. They are back at the rescue and ready to find their new forever home. Sunny must be adopted alongside the pair from the herd he grew up with, Roscoe & Sambuca. Apply to adopt Sunny!
Roscoe, a Lamancha/Nubian cross and Sambuca, an Oberhasli/Nubian cross are wonderful, social boys. Roscoe is a sensitive guy who adores people and develops strong bonds to his people and Sambuca is a laid back sweetheart. Roscoe & Sambuca along with their herd mate, Sunny, were all bottle raised at the rescue and adopted to a wonderful family that recently had to relocate to NYC and was unable to take the boys along. Bevin is a beautiful girl who was found as a stay with a rope and telephone wire tied around her neck. She had a deep wound around her neck from her tie when she arrived but it has healed well. Bevin is a medium sized goat and most likely a Saanen cross. She is incredibly sweet and despite whatever she has gone through in her past, her trust in humans hasn’t wavered. We are so happy to be able to give this girl the freedom she deserves. Bevin is now ready for her forever home! Apply to adopt Bevin!
These two little sweethearts are waiting to meet their forever family! Ben is a Pygora/Nigerian Dwarf cross and Jerry is a bottle raised Nigerian Dwarf and the duo is the best of friends. Both were bottle raised and they are friendly, social and have been raised around young children and are wonderful with them! This bonded pair is in need of a new home as their family has been forced to move and is unable to keep them. They have been well loved and cared for and are ready for the next chapter in their life. Billy, a beautiful Lamancha and Alfie, a gorgeous Saanen are back at the rescue and ready to find their forever home. We rescued Alfie as a youngster from a local slaughterhouse and Billy was rescued by PSGR volunteers after he was purchased at a livestock auction and kept as an only goat kid by their neighbors. The boys recently returned to the rescue as their family experienced some unexpected life changes and was unable to keep them. These big boys are friendly, easy going and ready to meet their new family! Apply to adopt Billy & Alfie!
These adorable little boys are ready to find their forever home! We rescued Yuri from a backyard butcher operation a few months ago. He was being fed old food scraps and living in muck. This tiny little guy didn’t let it damper his spirits though, he was a happy and very trusting and loving little guy. Thorin came to us after he became a chew toy for the family dog. He was thin and in poor condition as well. Both boys have made amazing recoveries and are now ready for the next chapter of their lives! Apply to adopt Yuri & Thorin!
Gabby is a darling young Boer that we rescued from a backyard butcher operation. This little gal is full of spunky personality! She loves to play and climb and get into anything that she can. She is mischievous but entertaining and has such a love of life. Gabby is now ready to take that firecracker personality to a forever home! Apply to adopt Gabby!
Boomerang & McKissic are social, playful and full of personality Lamancha kids that has been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a day old. The boys are farm favorites of many of our volunteers, you can’t help but fall in love with this duo! ADOPTION PENDING!
PSGR is located in WA State. We adopt within state and occasionally to neighboring states. If you are outside of our area but are looking to adopt rescues, we suggest PetFinder.com. Used exclusively by animal rescue groups and shelters, you can search for barnyard animals, specifically goats and within your area by zip code. It is a great resource for finding rescue groups and available rescues for adoption in your area.
