PSGR is dedicated to the health and happiness of the goats we have rescued and taken into our care. We carefully screen each applicant and potential home to insure it is a good fit for all involved. The first step is to complete the adoption application. Listed below are some of the goats we currently have available for adoption.
Rescued baby season is upon us and we are currently bottle raising dozens of kids at the rescue! Bamba, a Lamancha and Maslin, a Lamancha/Saanen cross are two of those kids and will soon be ready for their forever home! They are full of sweet and playful personality and will make a great addition to your farm family. Learn more about our kid adoption process.
Yukon is a big, beautiful Saanen wether, a gentle giant, who was bottle raised here at the rescue years ago. He was adopted by a wonderful family who took good care of him but the family was no longer able to keep them so brought their goats back to the rescue to find new forever homes. Yukon loves to give kisses and is a very easy going, loving guy and is ready to meet his new family! Apply to adopt Yukon!
Gabby is a darling young Boer that we rescued from a backyard butcher operation. This little gal is full of spunky personality! She loves to play and climb and get into anything that she can. She is mischievous but entertaining and has such a love of life. Gabby is now ready to take that firecracker personality to a forever home! Gabby will need a farm with extremely good fencing and things to keep this mischievous girl busy! Apply to adopt Gabby!
Alani was one of many pregnant does we rescued in the winter of 2017, she gave birth to her son Dalton in the spring of 2018 at the rescue. Alani and Dalton are incredibly loving and laid back, they don’t get much sweeter than these two! This sweet family of two is ready to meet their forever family! Apply to adopt Alani & Dalton!
Abbey & Archie are an adorable little duo! Abbey, an Alpine doeling (female) and Archie are just as sweet as they are cute. They have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a few days old. The pair will be ready for their forever home soon. Learn more about our kid adoption process!
Ladybug is a laid back, young little Lamancha who gave birth to playful, busy and adorable twins Tatonka & Gigi at the rescue last year. Ladybug was one of the many pregnant does we rescued in the winter of 2017. She is a great mom and her kids are the best of friends and enjoy snuggling up with their Mama every night. GiGi is full of playful and mischievous personality and her brother tries hard to keep up with her antics. The family will need a farm with extremely good fencing and things to keep these kids busy! Gunner & Huxley are big, beautiful Alpine wethers (neutered males) who grew up at the rescue but recently returned when their family was no longer able to keep them. These gorgeous boys are super laid back and sweet and have been raised around children and horses. Gunner & Huxley have tested positive for CL so should be the only goats in their new home, they would also be wonderful horse companions or with other goats who are CL positive. Evie was one of a number of does we rescued in the winter of 2017 who was pregnant. Last April 1st she gave birth to son Joker, named for his April Fools Birthday. Evie is a herd queen but very friendly and sociable and her “mini me” Joker is just as sweet and affectionate with people as a bottle baby. Evie & Joker must be adopted together. Kaboom is an adorable young Boer cross that we rescued from a neglect situation. This sweet guy was abandoned at a property where he had been kept alone and in a small coop where he could barely see out. Luckily he found his way to us thanks to some caring neighbors. He was neutered upon arrival and was surprisingly in great shape otherwise. He is now ready for his happily ever after with a forever family!

Roscoe, a Lamancha/Nubian cross and Sambuca, an Oberhasli/Nubian cross are wonderful, social boys. Roscoe is a sensitive guy who adores people and develops strong bonds to his people and Sambuca is a laid back sweetheart. The boys were bottle raised at the rescue and adopted to a wonderful family that recently had to relocate to NYC and was unable to take the boys along. Avery is a loveable, sweet Saanen and Boo is an adorable Oberhasli and this darling duo is almost ready for their forever home! The boys have been bottle raised at the rescue since they were just a few days old. They are incredibly sweet and snuggly and can’t wait to give lots of love to their forever family! Billy, a beautiful Lamancha and Alfie, a gorgeous Saanen are back at the rescue and ready to find their forever home. We rescued Alfie as a youngster from a local slaughterhouse and Billy was rescued by PSGR volunteers after he was purchased at a livestock auction and kept as an only goat kid by their neighbors. The boys recently returned to the rescue as their family experienced some unexpected life changes and was unable to keep them. Brady (Oberhasli) and Spud (Saanen) are two of the dozens of kids we are bottle raising at the rescue this spring. The boys both came to us from a dairy when they were just days old and they are playful, snuggly and absolutely adorable! Please note that we are accepting holds on kids to approved homes at this time, kids are not ready to go to their forever homes until they are weaned or almost weaned at approximately 3 months old. This beautiful mother/son duo is now ready for their forever home! Lyric (as well as Bree, also available for adoption with her son) was rescued while pregnant when her herd was being killed by cougars. This laid back, young mama gave birth at the rescue to sweet Pogo and the two are now ready to meet their new family! Apply to adopt Lyric & Pogo!

Ravi, a young Lamancha and Zoran, a Nigerian Dwarf are the most adorable and entertaining duo! We rescued both boys from a backyard butcher operation a few months ago. Both were starving and in heartbreakingly bad condition. They are both gaining weight and are playful and despite being neglected for so long, the sweetest goats! They love attention and being brushed. They both still need to continue to gain weight but are healthy and doing great! They would do best in a home with no other goats at this time so they can continue to thrive. Apply to adopt Ravi & Zoran!
Molly & Miranda are 3 year old Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy cross sisters who were raised as family pets and around children. A move across the country forced the family to have to find a new home for the girls The sisters are currently at one of our foster homes and ready to meet their new family. This sweet family of 4 is such a beautiful, easy going family. Nora was one of our pregnant rescues in the winter of 2017. Not even a month later she gave birth to triplets, daughter Marlowe and sons Mason & Rocco. The kids, Lamancha crosses, are almost as big as their mama now and the 4 share an incredibly strong and endearing bond and must be adopted as a family of 4. Apply to adopt Nora & her triplets!
Lovely & social Bree and her darling and full of fun and playful personality son Zoomie are now ready for their forever home! We rescued Bree (and Lyric, also available for adoption with her son) when she was pregnant after their herd was being killed by a cougar. Bree is a young, first time mom who had an easy delivery and is a wonderful mom. Zoomie is as sweet as a bottle baby. These two love bugs can’t wait to meet their forever family! Scarlet is a young mom who was a part of a big dairy rescue in the winter of 2017 that included a number of pregnant does. Scarlet gave birth to darling Nolan last spring. Scarlett is as sweet as she is beautiful as is her son Nolan. These two loves are now ready to meet their forever family. Apply to adopt Scarlet & Nolan!
Cassius and Odin are very striking boys! Cassius is a purebred Oberhasli and Odin is an Oberhasli cross that we rescued as bucks from a neglect situation. They were neutered upon arrival at the rescue and are now ready for their forever home. They arrived quite unsure and shy around people but are starting to warm up now that they are safe and getting proper nutrition and TLC for possibly the first time in their life. These two lovely ladies recently returned to the rescue when their family faced a move across the country and was unable to take them. We rescued Mona, a beautiful Nubian now about 8 years old and Athena, a spirited Alpine now bout 5 years old, from a local slaughterhouse 4 years ago. The girls have been well loved and cared for and are ready to meet their new family! Apply to adopt Mona & Athena!
Yumi is one of our Golden Girls, a group of senior dairy does we gave retirement to last spring. 6 days after her arrival at the rescue Yumi gave birth to girl/boy twins, Keiko & YoYo. For the first time in her life, Yumi got to keep & raise her babies. Yumi is a sweet little Mama who enjoys her quiet time but adores her kids and going out to browse with them. She receives supplemental feeding to help keep her weight and health maintained which she will need to continue to receive. Keiko & YoYo are as sweet as bottle babies. They are playful and fun and love their Mama more than anything. This sweet and special family is ready for a forever home all their own! . Apply to adopt Yumi & her twins!
This super sweet sheep pair returned to the rescue recently after their owner tragically passed away. Nibbles is a Katahdin that is about 8 years old and his best buddy Angus is a middle aged Katahdin cross . The boys are sweet, social and ready for their new forever home! PSGR is located in WA State. We adopt within state and occasionally to neighboring states. If you are outside of our area but are looking to adopt rescues, we suggest PetFinder.com. Used exclusively by animal rescue groups and shelters, you can search for barnyard animals, specifically goats and within your area by zip code. It is a great resource for finding rescue groups and available rescues for adoption in your area.
