Ace, ready for a nap
We became a part of the Puget Sound Goat Rescue family in 2024, when we began a monthly sponsorship of a little goat named Zuri. Since then, Zuri was adopted by her forever family. We continued our sponsorship with Rosey and then Josie - both of which have also been adopted! Currently, we are sponsoring Ace. Based on our meet and greet this summer, Ace is a friendly little guy, who loves his hay. He is on his own agenda and makes it clear that he did not have time to pose for our pictures — but we managed to sneak a couple in.
We hold PSGR near and dear to our hearts. The work they do is incredible — not only for caring for over 150 goats daily, based solely off of donations, but the fact that they know each goat by name and all of their little nuances. They provide veterinary support, as well as adjunctive therapies like chiropractic care. Truly, they put their best hooves forward when it comes to the goats (and a couple of sheep and a llama) and their wellbeing, often nursing them back to health after rescuing them from cruelty or neglect. Their life-saving work is undeniable and we are so happy to be able to be a very small part of their world by giving back to their cause.
